"Good Sunday to ya" from beautiful Upstate, NY!
Believe it or not, I actually stayed home this weekend
and was able to get tons of stuff done in the studio
and around the house. My "To Do" list is shrinking
and it feels good. Finally, I am getting the chance to
list a few new items that I have been working on.
I am in a generous mood today, so you will not want to
miss this bracelet I’m calling … “Lady in Pink” …
I have a new Lu Lu who is wearing Pink Flowers, her name
…”Iggy”… “Ziggy” and “Wiggy”, don’t ask me why I named
them that, just came to mind… Oh, and here’s a picture
of a Viking chain knit bracelet I just completed for Sue H.
I knit these bracelets on a wooden dowel using .999 fine
silver wire. They are absolutely gorgeous; they sparkle
wonderfully in the sun. I’m working on two more Viking chain
knit bracelets that I will be posting here soon.
Time for me to get back to work. Thanks so much for stopping
by. Have a great week ~ Nance

It feels like I have lost my umph for the past few months. Umph, meaning zip,
energy, do you know what I mean? Maybe it’s the heat; the summer of 2010
is being labeled “The summer of sweat”! Last night I had really good intentions
of working in my studio. After going about the necessary regular “stuff” to keep
the house running smoothly, the big blue room started to call me. The weather
was gorgeous, the deck inviting, Dave relaxing with a glass of wine, how could
I resist?… We sat outside for a long time just enjoying the moment, watching the
dragonflies buzzing around, listening to the Crickets and Cicadas. The sounds
that they produce mellow me right out, down for the count. There’s always
tomorrow, right? Oh, before I head out, last weekend, early soggy Sunday
morning, I was sitting on our campers deck, I’m always on the look - out for
mother nature ideas to incorporate into my beads and jewelry. This caught my
interest, twigs and rain drops, I’m envisioning …. hmmmmm.
Have a great week, see ya soon, I’m missing it here ~ Nance
My early morning view...

"Hi", Just wanted to show you what I have been working on behind the
scene. Actually, I had made more, but they slipped out the door before
I had time to take pictures. The two bracelets below look like I made
them from red glass, but in real life they are pink. The bottom bracelet
is for sale. It is made from pink depression glass and imported Italian
glass, loaded with pink Swarovoski crystals, sterling silver stardust
beads, and a Argentium sterling silver clasps that I made with my own
little two hands... I'll post it soon, but if your interested please let me
know....
Time for me to fly. Have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for stopping
by. ~ Nance

Happy 4th of July, I hope your having a fantastic weekend!
My apologies for my absence around here. Lately I have been
busy working on some jewelry orders behind the scenes
(which I am grateful for) and decided to take a little sabbatical.
Not for to long, just enough to get caught up on a few things
around the house and recharge the creative battery. My camera
is full of pictures that I would like to share with you here soon.
And … I do have some new jewelry to post, but I’m going to wait
until after my sabbatical….
Thank you for stopping over ~ Nance

It has been quite some time since I’ve updated my web site and I apologize
for my absence. Little lost for words right now, we recently lost our
18-1/2 year old black Lab, Quinn. She went very peacefully and I feel
she is in a much better place now. She was a wonderful companion
and I miss her terribly! Rest in peace my Quinn girl.
Thank you for stopping over. My best to you ~ Nance
